What printers do you recommend?

Mountaincow PrintingPress Pro Extreme software works well with any printer but there are definitely certain printers that work better for invitations than others.

For professionals we recommend OKI Laser Printers which feature white toner. They are full color printers that can print onto white card stock and envelopes and they handle heavy stocks up to 300 gsm matte as well as textured and  metallic stocks. The white toner can be used to print onto dark card stocks and envelopes.

We also recommend the Epson P400 color ink jet printer which prints beautiful photographs and can print onto our natural cotton stock. Ink jet photo printers can print full bleed to the edge of the card without having to trim after printing.

For consumers we recommend all Epson photo printers. If you already have a Canon that will work well too. HP ink jet and laser printers may not be able to feed thicker card stocks.

Our software customers can now also let us do the printing! Mountaincow offers very affordable printing onto thick white and ecru card stock and envelopes. We also offer personalized gift printing as well as specialty print services including foil, thermography, letterpress and die cutting.
