If you are using a laser printer, the problem is that laser printers cannot print full bleed, or “borderless” to the edge of the sheet. This is a limitation of all laser printers. The way to print an image all the way to the edge with a laser printer is to print onto a larger size card or full sheet and then trim it after printing. This can be done using a rotary or stack cutter, or an AccuCut personal die cutting machine which has templates built into the software.
The other option is to use an ink jet photo printer for full bleed designs, which supports borderless printing onto standard photo sizes like 3.5x5, 4x6, 5x7, 8x10 and 8.5x11. This works well with the place card, 4-bar flat and folded, A7 flat and A8 folded card sizes we offer. For other sizes you would need to trim after printing like with a laser printer.
We recommend and resell Epson ink jet printers and OKI laser printers for use with stationery printing.
